Sriracha is a lively chili sauce named after the coastal city of Si Racha in Thailand. In Si Racha the sauce was first produced and applied in local fish restaurants. Sriracha is made from chili, vinegar, garlic, sugar and kitchen salt Sriracha is often used as a dipping sauce, especially with seafood. Because of the versatile application possibilities like Knaller, sriracha comes back in some kitchens, as a seasoning in Asian soup or as a substitute for ketchup with fries. The sauce is also used extensively in döner kebab, chicken and fried noodle dishes.
